On Friday night, we went to a monster truck rally at the Lazy E. John Mark’s buddy, Gwen, and his family invited us to go with them. It was so much fun!
We started with dinner at Railhead BBQ- a hole in the wall restaurant out in Guthrie. I think it’s important to mention that John Mark proceeded to eat a fried chicken leg, a corn dog and french fries. After filling up on yummy burgers and fries, we headed out.
We got there early enough to get some great seats. We were right above the parked monster trucks and I spent most of the night keeping JM from hanging over the edge of the rail… He and Gwen wanted to get as close to the action as they could.
About 30 minutes into the races, JM started complaining that he was hungry. How it was possible he could be hungry, I’ll never know. He shared some cotton candy with Gwen and his sisters. I couldn’t get a picture because we were both covered in sticky mess!
After the show was over, we got to ride in a Monster Truck. It was so much fun. I have an awesome video that involves JM screaming like a girl, but I can’t figure out how to upload it. I’ll have to put it on here later.
It was a lot of fun, and I’m so glad we went. Thanks for a great time, Mullin family!
